Jealous aunt kills nephew: 9-year-old boy electrocuted in Agra after family dispute

Uttar Pradesh: A 9-year-old boy was found dead in Agra. The boy was allegedly electrocuted by his aunt who was upset because her husband was giving undue attention to the child. The woman has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.

Sad Death of 9-Year-Old Boy in Agra

A 9-year-old boy lost his life due to electrocution in the Agra district on Saturday. The child had gone to the roof to fly a kite and soon after went missing. The family members, unaware of the impending tragedy, started searching for him. Police investigations were reported when the absence of the boy became a suspectable affair.

Suspicious Circumstances Unveiled

The police investigation went to the house of the joint family in Jagdishpura, as the boy had gone to the house to fly a kite from his parents, but when his aunt was confronted with the same question, she lied that he was not in her place, and the investigations took a startling turn when it was found out that the dead body of the boy was discovered in the bathroom of the quarter where the aunt stayed.

Died due to electrocution

The post-mortem examination report concluded that electrocution that took the life of the boy. Suspicion was thrown upon the aunt as she emerged as the culprit behind the murder. The woman was thirty-five years old and was without any children. She allegedly developed jealousy against all the resources her husband was lavishly spending on the nephew.

Aunt's Planned Murder

The alleged aunt was an ex-nurse and used her knowledge properly not to gain much attention in murdering the child. She was arrested by the police and produced before the court. The court sent her into judicial custody.
