Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Sanjay Raut expressed thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his get-well messages after hearing about his illness. In reply to the PM's message on X, Raut posted, “Dear Prime Minister Sir, many thanks! My family is garteful to you! Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra!" Just a day before, on Friday, Raut shared that he needed to pause his public duties for two months because of medical problems. The PM sent hopes for his “quick healing and strong health,” which led to this warm back-and-forth between the two politicians.

The talk between PM Modi and Raut feels rare and touching, especially since they lead rival groups in politics. Even with their clashes, Modi keeps showing how to put aside fights when someone faces private or body troubles.
आदरणीय प्रधान मंत्री जी धन्यवाद!

Be it a friend in politics or an opponent, the Prime Minister regularly displays care and positive feelings to figures from all sides. His note to Raut proves again that Modi freely offers help and warm thoughts to anyone dealing with sickness, no matter their team. Raut's time off from public view looks like a big blow to Shiv Sena (UBT) as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls near.
In a note to his party members and fans, Raut explained his body had suddenly gotten worse and that healers suggested full bed rest. “You all have trusted and cared for me so much, but lately my health has taken a bad turn. Care is happening now; I'll beat this fast,” Raut shared. It's worth noting that Raut went to the hospital a short while back when he felt bad. Things got harder for him after that, leading him to step back from daily political work.
Reaching out to those who back him, Raut asked them to hold on to their trust in him through this tough time. “Following doctor orders, I can't leave home or join groups of people. No choice here. I'm confident I'll get better and see you all next year. Keep sending your care and good vibes,” he added, ending with his usual “Victory to Maharashtra!”
