Himachal Pradesh: Two brothers tragically lost their lives in a devastating truck accident in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, early Monday morning. The victims, Dinesh Kumar (29) and his elder brother Vinod Kumar (37), were residents of Thhera village in Solan district.

Accident Details

The accident occurred around 1:00 AM on the Dhami-Sunni link road near Bagipul Baiju when Dinesh, the driver, reportedly lost control of their cement-laden truck. The vehicle plunged into a ravine, leading to an immediate response from local residents who alerted the police. A search operation was promptly initiated to recover the brothers' bodies.

Recovery Efforts

With assistance from locals, police teams successfully located the bodies early Monday morning. The deceased were then transported to the Civil Hospital in Sunni for post-mortem examinations. Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi confirmed that an investigation is underway and that the family has been informed of this tragic incident.This heartbreaking event highlights the dangers of driving in hilly terrains, where accidents can occur suddenly and with devastating consequences.
