Delhi Police notified on Tuesday that a school located in south Delhi’s Pushp Vihar locality has received a bomb threat email. According to the police, the email was received when the school was yet to open for the day and therefore there was no need of any ‘war-front’ evacuation process.

According to the police, the threat looks like a hoax as the search operation was coming to completion and nothing like a ‘bomb’ was found till then.

Amrita School in Push Pushp Vihar, as per the Police personnel, received the threat. The Police are investigating the entire matter and looking for the person who sent the mail.

It should be highlighted that a similar incident took place on April 26 when Delhi Public School located on Mathura Road got an email that there was a bomb in school. The email turned out to be a hoax later on as no explosives were found.
