New Delhi: Blooms International India organised a charitable initiative outside Gate No. 2 of the AIIMS Metro Station in Delhi, distributing fruits and juice to patients in need and their family members. The initiative aimed to offer support to people facing medical and financial difficulties while promoting compassion, love and brotherhood.
Patients from across the country visit the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in search of specialised treatment. Many patients and their families face financial challenges while managing hospital visits and treatment. Through this effort, the organisation sought to provide some relief and remind people of the importance of supporting others during difficult times.
Social worker Sajid said his objective was to serve humanity and help people in need. He noted that illness often places patients and their families under considerable emotional and financial pressure, making even a small gesture of assistance meaningful.
He also stressed the importance of collective efforts in the country's progress. Sajid said he wanted to strengthen unity, love and brotherhood among people of all religions and contribute to national development. He expressed his intention to continue organising similar initiatives to support needy patients.
The initiative highlighted the role of community service in bringing people together across religious and social boundaries. By distributing refreshments to patients and their families, the organisation sought to convey that compassion and concern for others are central to human values.
The effort also underscored how voluntary service can help foster solidarity and encourage people to support those facing difficult circumstances.
