Applications For Temporary Green Firecracker Sale Licences To Open On October 30 In Ratia

Ratia: Applications for temporary licences to sell green firecrackers in Ratia subdivision ahead of Diwali will be accepted from October 30 to November 4, 2026, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Surendra Singh has announced.

Interested sellers must submit their applications along with the required documents at the Ratia Sub-Divisional Office between 10 am and 5 pm on government working days. The administration has clarified that applications received after November 4 will not be accepted.

What Rules Must Firecracker Sellers Follow?

SDM Surendra Singh said firecracker sales during Diwali must comply with prescribed regulations and administrative directions. He cautioned sellers against selling firecrackers without obtaining the necessary licence and stressed the importance of following all applicable rules and safety standards.

Administration Appeals for Environmentally Responsible Celebrations

Singh also appealed to residents to prioritise green firecrackers to help protect the environment and reduce air pollution. He urged people to celebrate Diwali safely and responsibly while remaining mindful of environmental concerns.
