National News: In a significant statement on Operation Sindoor, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval asserted that India incurred no damage during the military operation. Accusing certain media outlets of spreading misinformation, he challenged, “If there’s evidence that India suffered any damage, show me a single image—even a glass wasn’t broken.”

Speaking at an event organized at IIT Madras on Saturday, Doval highlighted India’s evolving military capabilities, strategic clarity, and emphasis on indigenous defense technology.

Proud of using homegrown technology

Doval emphasized the critical link between technology and modern warfare, saying India took pride in executing Operation Sindoor with completely indigenous systems. “Every step of the mission was precise and executed with accuracy,” he said.

He revealed that the operation lasted only 23 minutes, during which the Indian forces targeted nine terrorist hideouts across the Pakistani border. Notably, these sites were located deep within Pakistan’s territory, not along the immediate border. “Our strikes were pinpoint accurate, hitting only terror hubs and avoiding civilian areas entirely,” he added.

“Foreign media created confusion”

Taking a dig at international media outlets, Doval accused them of spreading disinformation based on selective satellite images. “Several reports misleadingly cited Pakistan’s 13 airbases. But anyone comparing satellite imagery from before and after May 10 will clearly see the truth,” he stated.

Operation Sindoor: India’s precise counter-response

Following the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, India launched a retaliatory strike on the night of May 7, targeting nine terror launchpads located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor.

Enraged by the action, Pakistan attempted retaliatory strikes using drones and missiles, targeting both military and civilian infrastructure. However, India’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized those threats, preventing any major impact.

Strategic precision, zero collateral

NSA Doval’s remarks underscore that Operation Sindoor was a strategically sound, technologically advanced, and clean military operation. India not only eliminated terrorist infrastructure across the border but did so without any civilian casualties or damage on its side—affirming the nation’s defense credibility and sovereignty.
