Bihar Elections 2025: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its preparations for the Bihar Assembly Election 2025. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is currently on a two-day visit to the state. After a crucial meeting with party leaders and office bearers in Patna on Friday, he is now scheduled to visit Samastipur and Araria on Saturday. These meetings are being seen as related to election strategy and selection of candidates.

In the meeting held in Patna, Amit Shah gave a new mantra of victory to the leaders and workers, which he named 'Triple M' formula. The triple M stands for Mahila (women), Modi and Mandir (temple). Shah said it is important to reach out to women as they are the pivot of the family. Every worker will have to inform women about the schemes of the NDA government.

Shah set a target of winning 225 seats in the elections. He said that in every assembly constituency, mass contact campaigns will have to be conducted at least 225 times. "Above the boundaries of caste, religion and ideology, communicate directly to the people and assure them that the NDA is the guarantee of development and stability," he said.

Candidates discussed in Samastipur

On Saturday, Amit Shah will hold a meeting with leaders and workers of eight districts of north-central Bihar—Samastipur, Madhubani, Jhanjharpur, Begusarai, Khagaria, etc. According to local BJP leaders, the names of candidates for the assembly elections will be discussed in this meeting. The meeting will be held in the conference hall of the college, where special arrangements have been made for the seating of delegates. Senior party leaders will be present on the stage, while general workers will not be allowed entry. Amit Shah will reach Samastipur by helicopter. A temporary helipad has been set up at Narghogi for this purpose. Elaborate security arrangements have been made in and around the meeting venue. After the meeting, Shah will leave for Araria.

Focus on Seemanchal and Anga Pradesh in Araria

In Araria, Amit Shah will hold a meeting with the BJP core committee of Kosi-Seemanchal and 10 districts of Anga Pradesh. The meeting will be attended by 49 MPs. The meeting, which will last for about two hours, will discuss the election strategy and the strength of the organisation. During this, Shah will address the workers and motivate them for the '225 seats mission'. The meeting is being seen as crucial in finalising the electoral equation for the BJP.

BJP in active mode

Earlier in the day, Amit Shah held a meeting with around 350 leaders and workers of West Champaran and Saran districts. The meeting was held at the conference hall of Government Engineering College, Bettiah. In the meeting, Shah gave a clear message: "Forget who is what and fight the elections like a common worker. " State BJP president Dilip Jaiswal said that the list of candidates has been handed over to Amit Shah after the screening process was completed. Now the final selection of candidates will be done by the top leadership.
