Delhi: A law student from Ghaziabad fell to his death from the seventh floor of an apartment complex in Noida while attending a party at a friend's residence. The victim was identified as Tapas, who was an LLB student of a private university in Noida. This incident took place on Saturday at Supreme Towers in Sector 99, where Tapas had gone to attend a gathering at his friend's flat.

Police investigation is under way

A few days after the incident, local police were informed of the tragic fall. Authorities have sent the student's body for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. Tapas' friends who attended the party are being questioned by the investigators to see if his death was an accident or it was caused through some wrong doing.

The Noida Police Commissionerate's media cell confirmed that the victim's family has been informed. "We are investigating thoroughly, considering all possible angles," an official said. More legal action will be taken after a formal complaint is filed by the family, the police added. Tapas' family is in mourning over the sudden death as they await clarity on the circumstances of his death. The tragic incident has raised questions about safety and accountability during social gatherings.
