Shivangi Singh of UP became India's only woman Rafale pilot
New Delhi: She is India's sole woman fighter pilot to pilot Rafale. Her name is Shivangi Singh. He hails from Varanasi, UP. Shivangi Singh used to dream of flying aircraft since her childhood. At the age of just 9 years. Now, when the Rafale aircraft rang out in the air attack on Pakistan, the nation was proud of them. Shivangi Singh studied at Banaras Hindu University and then was a part of the Hyderabad Academy of the Indian Air Force. Her path to becoming a pilot began when she visited the Air Force Museum in Delhi. After glancing at the fighter aircraft there, she made up her mind that she would become a fighter pilot.

Shivangi is the name who penned a new page in the history of the Indian Air Force. When the Indian Air Force began inducting women in 1995, barely anybody imagined that one day a woman would pilot a lethal fighter like Rafale. But Shivangi accomplished it.
Shivangi has flown MiG-21 fighter jets earlier. Then in 2020, he underwent Rafale training. For this, he had to undergo a rigorous selection process and train under French experts. Now she is stationed at Ambala airbase and is defending the nation.
Shivangi is 29 years old now. She is a wife of a fighter pilot and both of them are committed to serving the nation. On one side, the Indian Army is shattering the roots of terror, and on the other side, this lady sitting in Rafale is stating that daughters can now shatter the sky.
