National News: The heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab have become a disaster for the people. Sometimes mountains are breaking, and sometimes rivers are in spate. The situation is such that the common life has become completely disturbed.

Vaishno Devi Yatra stopped

There was a big landslide recently on the way from Katra to the court of Mata Vaishno Devi. Many devotees died in this accident, while many people were injured. The administration has stopped the journey after the incident. Roads and rail routes have been closed due to heavy rains, due to which hundreds of passengers who reached Katra are stranded there.

Baridar community got angry

After the landslide, the Bariyar community demonstrated against Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. The people of the community, who took black flags, accused the board of negligence and demanded a fair investigation. This community has been connected to the temple for generations and is now demanding the restructuring of the board.

Flood wreaks havoc in Punjab

The situation in Punjab is also no less bad. More than a thousand villages have been submerged in water here. In many villages, water has entered homes, and people are reaching safe places to save their lives. The administration has set up relief camps, and so far thousands of people have been shifted there.

Jammu highway jammed

The crisis on the National Highway of Jammu is also deepening. About 800 trucks laden with fruits and vegetables are stuck due to the road being blocked. Due to this, farmers and traders are facing huge losses. Due to the frequent landslides, the work of opening the way is becoming very difficult.

Relief and rescue continue

Administration and army teams are constantly working. Helpline numbers have been issued, and efforts are being made to evacuate people from village to village. However, the Meteorological Department has warned of more rain in the coming days, which has increased the concern of the people.
