Punjab CM Blames BJP for Twin Blasts, Calls It '2027 Election Strategy' (X)
Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday, while reacting to two blast incidents in Amritsar and Jalandhar, blamed BJP and said that "in any state where they want to contest elections, they first create riots,"
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday blamed the BJP for two blasts near BSF bases and alleged that these incidents could be part of a larger conspiracy before the elections.
After two consecutive blasts were reported near BSF bases in Jalandhar and Amritsar, Bhagwant Mann also questioned whether the BJP was trying to gain votes through such incidents.
"Investigation is underway into these minor blasts. This is the BJP's preparation for the Punjab elections. BJP gets votes by spreading violence and fear among people. I want to tell the BJP to stop. The people of Punjab always want peace. Wherever the BJP has to contest elections, it goes there and creates fights," he said.
